In The Field
16 October, 2009 Kuttabul, NSW God has shown Himself great and souls are being won for the Kingdom. Within the last month there have been three conversions, but unfortunately one has decided to walk away from his commitment to the Lord. We must pray for all these new converts that they are not swayed by the negative voices of persuasion around them. The new souls have been hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit and are being changed. No man has taught them what they have been learning and it is exciting to see them grow out of a hunger for the Lord. John 16:13 However, when He the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; For He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and declare it to you. John 1:13 says, Who were born not of blood, nor the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man but of God. These new converts are getting truly born again. People are signing up for the Alpha course (a course explaining Christianity). Recently a man came into the Rec centre and asked if he and his wife could do the course. Doors are opening that no man can close! Please continue to pray for more opportunities to share the Gospel with power and many more souls to be gloriously saved all for the glory of Jesus Christ. 14 October, 2009 Kapooka, NSW God is doing amazing things at Kapooka. Here is a recent account of lives transformed Up at the Everyman’s Recreation Centre one evening, a young Christian recruit Benjamin introduced himself to me. He had been sharing his faith with other recruits in his platoon and asked if I would meet and talk with some of them. Benjamin and his three mates came into my office, where we had a wonderful time sharing about Christ and our need for a real and personal relationship with Him. The recruits were asking questions, as they were seriously considering everything that Benjamin and I had to say. At the end of the evening, one young man, Matt wanted to commit his life to Christ. In front of his mates in my office, I led him through the sinners prayer, then Benjamin and I prayed for him. The other two recruits, Christopher and Osheen, expressed a desire to process things further. I encouraged them to continue to seek the Lord and to keep talking with Benjamin, the Chaplains or myself about their journey. |
