2011 Australian Peacekeepers Day Memorial Service

This year’s service to commemorate Australia’s 64th year of involvement in Peacekeeping Operations was held at the Peacekeepers and Peacemaker Veterans Memorial at Windaroo, Saturday September 10th by the South Queensland branch of the Association. Despite the looming bad weather, we had a reasonable but windy day and we enjoyed offering the Veterans a welcome brew from the Everyman’s truck on arrival. The service was followed by a light lunch and as people gathered and shared, the Everyman’s crew again provided a hot cuppa and a listening ear as the ADF members and Veterans shared their stories. In response, there were many opportunities to provide ministry. What a privilege it is to support serving ADF and Veterans alike, helping members carry their load in life, to talk, pray and offer Christian friendship. And of course, our part would not be possible without you! So, I’d like to thank you for your faithful support in allowing us to provide this service, but I’d also like to take this opportunity to encourage you in your continuous giving, and if possible, to even increase it...

Look forward to staying in touch…

God bless,

Phil Marshall
