Everyman’s at Kapooka

The RBC ministries in collaboration with Everyman’s

Welfare Service have produced a camouflaged devotional booklet that has the Everyman’s logo on the front cover. These Everyman devotional booklets have been made available to recruits at the Amy Recruit Training Centre, Kapooka. Having the Everyman’s logo on the front cover of the devotional booklet is intended to help recruits know that they can talk to an Everyman’s staff member as someone who knows something about what they are reading. The Everyman’s staff at Kapooka interact with recruits on a regular basis in the recreation centre or out on brew runs. This frequent contact between Everyman’s and recruits encourages conversation – especially relating to the devotional booklet. The devotional booklet relates well to the Army culture. It includes testimonies of Christian soldiers being inspired as they have read and applied the scriptural truths in their own particular situation. Over three thousand recruits are trained each year at Kapooka which makes the devotional booklet strategically placed. We at Everyman’s believe that this booklet is an integral part in encouraging Army recruits in their spiritual journey.
