Greeting from Simpson Barracks, Macleod Victoria

Twelve months have passed since joining Everyman’s at the Defence Force School of Signals, Macleod. Much has happened during my first year, including a newly built Recreational Centre housing many mod cons.  There, I have had many opportunities to minister to soldiers and their families.

Although the past twelve months haven’t been easy, six months before coming into Everyman’s, God was preparing me to return to the Army and to the Barracks where I had once served.  This wasn’t possible in the natural, although, God was at work, making the impossible, possible…  Despite the difficulties of the role; I have no doubt that I was set up for this heavenly appointment.

When you know clearly that you have been called by God to a work of faith He will provide. One example of many: I needed a brew truck; little did I know that a truck I had bought cheaply years before would now be needed?  As we (Everyman’s) don’t have the funds to buy a brew truck, God provided ahead of time.

God knows what you need before you ask, He prepares people sometime years before, looking back, I stand amazed at His grace and leadings.

Looking forward, I’m excited to serve the Lord at Everyman’s, and I know without doubt, His provision will continue...

God bless,

Adrian Steen
