Introduction to Milton Wilson

Rep. Milton Wilson started with Everyman’s three years ago. Milton is based at the Army Recruit Training Centre, in Kapooka. His faithful service extends to both the training staff and recruits alike. On Sunday afternoons, Milton performs the Brew Run, providing refreshments to those conducting manoeuvres in the bush. He also visits the recruits in hospital.

Recently, during one of those visits, Milton spoke to female patient, and found out that she was, in fact, a Navy helicopter technical trainee, based at the RAAF Base, Wagga Wagga. When Milton asked where she was from, she replied “You wouldn’t know the place because I come from a little town in Western Australia called Green Hills.” Milton said “You won’t believe this but on my recent holiday to W.A., I stayed at Green Hills.” (Milton realised that with God, there is no such thing as a coincidence). God used the common ground to encourage the young sailor, she was so thrilled that someone had been to her hometown. Through that, Milton displayed the love of God, ministering to her while lonely and depressed, in unfamiliar surroundings, faraway from home.
