Note from the Treasurer’s Desk....

As you read each quarter of Everyman’s growth over the last couple of years, have you considered the need for increased financial support so we can continue to build and consolidate the recent growth? Your financial support can be focused on personal support for a nominated Representative, purchasing a new “Brew Truck” or contributing to the general running of the ministry. To be part of this growth and ongoing development of Everyman’s, I have outlined below a number of different methods of giving. Cheque or Money Order or Credit Card: complete the enclosed donation slip and post to Everyman’s Welfare Service, Victoria Barracks, Enoggera Mail Centre QLD 4051.

Visit our web site www.Everymans.org.au to make donations from your credit card. Donate a gift or Bequest in your will. In the past Everyman’s has received a number of gifts from people who wanted to leave a lasting legacy for the ongoing work of Everyman’s. This method of giving a lump sum
can also be directed to a specific purpose such as provision of a “Brew Truck” or fit out of a new Rec Centre etc. Including Everyman’s in your will is simple. The following standard wording can be used or adapted to your requirements in writing a new will or adding a codicil to your existing will:
Bequests for general purposes ‘I bequeath to Everyman’s Welfare Service …. (fill in amount of cash, percentage or residue of estate, details of property or shares)… My bequest is to be used for the general purposes (or a specific purpose) of Everyman’s Welfare Service and I declare that the receipt of the Secretary or other proper officers shall be a complete discharge of my bequest.’ Please feel free to phone or email me at H.Q. to discuss
any questions you may have regarding donations and remember all donations over $2.00 are tax deductible.
