Welcoming Ken and Joanne Delamore
Ken and Jo will be joining Everyman’s in the near future as part-time Reps. They will receive their initial training at the Army Recruit Training Base near Wagga Wagga. Ken and Joanne have been married for 26 years, have three adult children and one daughter-in-law. Ken has been a Christian for 28 years and Joanne for 42 years. Both Ken and Joanne were brought up in The Salvation Army and served as officers/ministers with this movement for 20 years. They have had many and varied appointments in both Australia and New Zealand. In 2003 they resigned as Salvation Army Officers and each took up an Assistant Pastor’s role with an Independent Church in New Zealand. Both Ken and Joanne feel that their ministry call to the military is very special, having served as Chaplains and as Reps. with Red Shield Defence Service (RSDS) in the Australian Army. Both Ken and Joanne see their present call to serve with Everyman’s as an on-going extension of their Christian service for the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour. Ken and Joanne are looking forward to ministering to the young men and women of the Australian Army at recruit level, and consider their time at Kapooka as an honour and privilege. I am looking forward to having Ken and Joanne at Kapooka. Their enthusiasm for ministry in the Armed Forces is contagious and they will certainly be used mightily of God.
