Kiel began with us in July this year and has come from a Defence, police, and prison security background. At the moment Kiel is still working through his theological degree in South Australia, but has nonetheless gained opportunity to become a fully Commonwealth accredited Everyman’s REP with Defence and serve at Kapooka. Along with wife Emily, they promise to be an effective team in assisting with the Everyman’s welfare, care and outreach to our Defence Force members.

For now Kiel will serve part time and fill in when he can, most probably at Kapooka. However both Kiel and Everyman’s itself have been concerned for some years to re-instate some form of work with Defence in South Australia. For many years Everyman’s was with 16 Air Defence Regiment, however there are now potentially many other openings as well at Edinburgh in particular. Pray for Kiel and Emily that they will see clearly where best to serve Defence through Everyman’s in the coming years.
